What we are doing:

Sleeping Arrangements
- Parents arrive with masks on
- Provider wears a mask
- Children are provided masks and encouraged to wear as tolerable
- Provider and family are temperature checked throughout the day
- Parents are checked before entry and children are checked at the entryway with a touchless thermometer
- No one is allowed entry for a temperature over 100.0 degrees
- Daily health checks for parents and children
- Hands are washed at arrival and numerous times throughout the day
- Hands are dried with single use towels or a dedicated towel in the child care space
- Clean and disinfected pens
- Shoes are removed
- Signs are posted to help everyone remember when and to wash their hands

- Children continue to sleep on a dedicated cot/pack n play with a sheet
- A colored blanket and pillow is given to each child upon enrollment to use
- Bedding is stored separate from others
- Sheets are washed daily
- Children sleep 6 feet apart

- Frequently touched items are disinfected every hour inside
- Stuffed animals and hard to clean toys and materials have been removed. These toys are stored in a box and available, we need to clean them after use. This has been an easy fix for keeping this clean and sanitary.
- Hands are washed after being outside, sneezing or coughing into them, before meals, after bathroom/diaper.
- Touchless sink and soap dispenser in playroom area

- Maintaining a small setting of 6-8 children
- Eliminating drop in care
- Suspending in house therapies
- Observing the children throughout the day for changes in health and demeanor
- Children have their own color cup, eliminating cross drinking from others cups
- Parents wait outside while other families are present to drop off or pickup
- One parent per family at drop offs and pickups
- Eliminating outside toys, bedding or food being brought in

- Children are safely isolated until pickup
- Fever and/or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headaches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Requiring children to stay home for 72 hours fever free without the aid of fever reducing medications
- Anyone testing positive for COVID19 will excluded from the child care for 14 days with a doctors note to return to care
